UEDF Models Assembly Tutorial: Part 1

Greetings All,

PythNutD back with another RRT hobby article. Took a bit of a break this November, but got my RRT energy back and I'm back to assembling, painting, and blogging.

I've had multiple people across the various forums request that I put up some articles talking about assembly of the various RRT models. Well now that the remainder of my Pledges are in hand I certainly will have plenty to assemble. Now onto the first part of what will become a multi-article series, specifically in this article I show how I assemble the Veritech models, and a destroid thrown in for fun.

First batch of Zentradi Regults: Painting Tutorial

Greetings All,

PythNutD here with another Robotech RPG Tactics Painting Tutorial. Taking a brake from the UEDF Mecha to start painting the Zentradi hordes. Now My goal with this paint job was to find a medium between the simple paint job I used on my Destroids and the highly detailed, yet time consuming paint job that I use don my Rick Hunter VF-1J.

Area Denial Destroid Squadron : Quick Paint Tutorial

Greetings All,

PythNutD here with another Robotech RPG Tactics Painting Tutorial. For those who read my last post you saw and example of an intermediate level, highly detailed, and time intensive paint job. This time around I have a quicker and simpler paint scheme of the Destroids that come in the RRT Starter box.

Vermillion Squadron: Part 1

Greetings all,

PythNutD here with a step-by-step tutorial showing how I painted my first batch of Robotech RPG Tactics minis. For my first Veritech Squadron I decided to paint Vermilion Squadron, with Rick Hunter's VF-1J first.

Now this is an intermediate level paint job with 3-4 layers of paint for most of the colors. I don't plan on painting my whole RRT collection at this level, or I will be painting all year, so future articles will show both faster/simpler paint jobs and possible more advanced painting.

Now Enjoy.....

Veritech Battloid Dynamic Poses

Greetings All,

If you are a gamer like me then you like your minis/models to have varied poses so that you don't end up with each looking exactly the same. One of the complaints floating around the various user forums is that the Robotech RPG Tactics wave one Veritech models only have two types of legs for the Battloid mode, thus limiting the poses that can be modeled. However with a little adjusting and slight modifications you can modify the legs to inrcrease the pose options.

Robotech RPG Tactics Main Box set Review

Greetings Readers,
PythNutD here with an unboxing and review of the Robotech RPG Tactics main box set.

I know there are already unboxing posts and videos out there but I'm writing this as a review from the mindset of a former Warhammer 40k enthusiast and to simply give an alternate opinion. To start out, the box is very nicely designed with with some great artwork.

Portable Game Table (top)

PythNutD here,

After a long hiatus I've decided to get back into table top strategy wargaming. Staying away from 40k for the time being and instead I'm going to start playing Robotech RPG Tactics. As I wait for my copies of the upcoming Robotech RPG Tactics to arrive I have been attempting to maintain my patience with a few small projects. The one that I have decided to share with you today is how to put together a light weight portable game table.

PythnutD a Random Gamer

PythNutD here, for those coming across this blog an introduction. I'm a longtime RPG gamer, tabletop miniature wargamer, and lover of cool fantasy/sci-fi board games. I also fancy myself a pretty good painter of miniatures.

After taking a two year break from my Warhammer 40k hobby I have decided to get back into strategy war gaming and the painting if minis. So will this be another 40k blog? Not likely, I'm not a fan of all the new rules, and all GW's recent crapfest of changes. Maybe sometime in the future I'll get back in, but at the moment I'm excited about other games.

So what am I going to blog about? Well for the most part I'll be writing hobby and gaming articles about Robotech RPG Tactics and Demigod Rising, with some other completely random articles on various mini painting projects and board games.
